Carbon Capture Day Event

At 11 am on Wednesday, August 25th, join Greening Sacred Spaces for a fun day at Mooney’s Bay Park. Our GSS team will be presenting on how our local faith communities are becoming environmental stewards within their communities and how you can reduce your carbon emissions! We will also be joined by Jonathon Rausseo, the University of Ottawa’s Campus Sustainability Manager, who will be sharing how Ottawa University is achieving its “green” goals and success.

This event is being hosted by Ottawa’s Carbon Capture Day Event, a nonprofit research organization that creates pro-active events to promote urban greening. Its vision is to have cities across the planet adopt August 25th as a day to plant and grow vegetation throughout their locality.

This is a FREE outdoor event suitable for ALL AGES, with lots of fun giveaways!
